Role: Producer, Cinematographer & Editor

Entirely self-produced during a semester in Cambodia, this research documentary explores the school's Directed Research program through the lens of ongoing water snake studies. Directed Research, the cornerstone of the School for Field Studies model, enables students to conduct original scientific investigations that directly address environmental challenges facing the communities where we operate.

By documenting this fieldwork as a case study, the film shows how this hands-on research sets this organisation’s approach apart across all twelve of our global centers, turning students into active contributors to real-world conservation efforts.
